The ATS-TARP Plus, another member of Apsu’s family of ATS-based products, combines all the features of ATS-TARP Static with an additional solids recovery process. In addition to the waste being de-watered and the resulting water being decontaminated via the ATS, the recovered solids are washed, dried, screened and graded to recover sand, aggregates.
The result of using an ATS-TARP Plus system is that over 98% of the wet waste (gully arisings and road-sweepings) can be recycled, reducing the proportion sent to landfill. As much as 80% of the solids recovered can be resold, for instance as building aggregates or as a component of C20 lean mix concrete.
